My family, friends, and I had a wonderful time on the night of the new year. We adored the location. The kids' area changed the game since it was filled with treats and kept the youngsters busy. Fantastic setting and amazing view. "Flies" were a problem for us, but Roger set up a fly trap for us, which was really helpful. Everything was really professional and looked just as it did in the pictures. If you want to spend time with a large group of your own gang, I would highly recommend going here.

It was a well spent holiday at Camp Ruffy. The place was just as in the pictures. Quite spacious for a large group of people and the mesmerising view added to a perfect holiday. The place was very well organised with clear instructions and well supplied with all needs. We really enjoyed our stay and experienced the real feeling of a countryside. We would definitely recommend this place as a great holiday stay for ones who love a peaceful and a relaxing holiday with friends and family. Thank you so much.. 10/10.

Phenomenal property, especially for a large group. The view from the pool and undercover area is amazing, you’ll never get tired of it. Kitchen had everything you could ever need in it and ample crockery to cater for large groups. 10/10

My extended family enjoyed a wonderful experience at Camp Ruffy. The property is off the scale beautiful with its views and complete farm experience. The house has it all, the kitchen and living areas are all open and very well equipped. There is even a playroom for the little kids and a swimming pool for the warmer days. The house is super clean and there is nothing extra this property requires except its guests. Thank you Roger & Chris. We will be back…….

Stunning country property truly off the grid and a perfect destination to escape and enjoy pure quietness and a night sky. Also one of the most stunning views of the hills out the back. Well equipped and nicely maintained, couldn't ask for much more if you wanted to get a way with a group. I thought the photos didn't do it justice.

Camp Ruffy is an amazing stay with plenty of space, a great pool and amazing views of the rolling countryside that comfortably fits large groups. Roger and Christine were generous hosts who provided substantially more than the basic amount of food and supplies. They were also very quick to respond to any questions we had whilst also giving us full privacy.

We stayed at Camp Ruffy for our family Christmas. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 children (8yrs to 10yrs). The kitchen had everything we needed, heaps of crockery/cutlery, huge fridge with second fridge available in play room. The play room was kid heaven and between that and the pool kept our kids busy. No Vodafone reception but Telstra reception was fine. Some lovely bushwalks around the property. House was very clean. I would definitely recommend staying at Camp Ruffy.

“We had a truly fabulous 3 night stay at Camp Ruffy. It exceeded our expectations. The space for our large group was perfect and all of the kids thoroughly enjoyed the kids play room, the pool, exploring the huge property and wildlife and collecting eggs from the chickens. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need plus more - incredibly well stocked! Lots of beds and a great linen closet with ample linen and towels. Bunk bedrooms were a little tight but it certainly didn't matter as only used them for sleep as there were so many other great areas to be in. Roger and Christine were lovely to deal with, quick to respond and very helpful. It even included Christine having to make a trip out to us - however, never made us feel like it was too much. The views all around us were sensational and evenings by the fire pit were a perfect end to the day. Highly recommend!”

'This place is amazing. 11 adults and 10 kids from ages 6 months to 8 years old all enjoyed a fantastic 5 nights at Camp Ruffy. The swimming pool, outdoor dining / living area, playroom, kitchen are awesome. The place is extremely well stocked with all supplies. From towels, to glasses, cutlery and toys. 'Our extended family of 18 had the most wonderful 4 day Christmas at Camp Ruffy. Roger and Christine are the most wonderful hosts providing all information and answers to questions whilst ensuring privacy and independence on their incredible property. The house and surrounds ensure you have everything and more to enjoy a holiday at anytime of the year. Our family enjoyed pool volleyball, Kubb on the front lawn, family movies one evening, games, music and even dancing with “disco lights” to add ambience. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful and the view to die for. Look out for koalas, echidnas and wallabies, all of which we spotted. The kitchen is equipped way beyond our expectations with brand new high quality appliances. Oven is on the small side which is worth noting if you plan to cook for a crowd, although there is a large BBQ. If getting away from it all whilst having all the comforts of home (and more) appeal to you, then do not hesitate to book Camp Ruffy- you won’t regret it!'

Camp Ruffy was incredible. We were so impressed with the property and found it to be much better than we expected. The care that Roger has taken in creating Camp Ruffy is so apparent in even the minor details. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean as well. Camp Ruffy is surrounded by beautiful, relatively untouched countryside. The lodge is very spacious and also has a kids area. Amenities include every herb you could possibly think of wanting to use for cooking. We all had a great time there and highly recommend Camp Ruffy as a laid back, no nonsense place for groups to gather, with everything you could possibly need on hand.

We stayed at Camp Ruffy over a weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday and absolutely LOVED our stay. The house is set out beautifully, with all the amenities and many thoughtful touches (eggs in the fridge, coffee machine, bathroom staples, hair dryer, supplies in case you forgot something). It was warm inside, with two fantastic indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, an outside BBQ in a perfect place with a stunning view for a lunch. The rooms were clean, the many beds were generously made up with sheets and towels, and the two bathrooms managed to clean us all! Roger and Christine were incredibly helpful during the check in process, easy to contact, and lovely people. Camp Ruffy is gorgeous. We will be returning for the many adventures to be had over the property that we didn’t have time for this time!

Roger's place is really big and easily accommodated a large group. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and more. Really clean as well. Views are outstanding and lots of walks nearby. We had a great time and definitely recommend.
